This was an excellent session, full of useful tips and tricks with the opportunity to put these into practice creating our own supporter journeys. It was also great to share ideas with peers from other organisations. Would thoroughly recommend.

The training

In this fully interactive training, More Onion experts will help you to design rich and effective supporter journeys. Whether you're new to supporter journeys design, or looking to refine journeys you're already running, this session is for you. The learnings will apply to all types of supporter journeys.

What we'll cover

Setting strong objectives and metrics
It's crucial to have a clear objective for your supporter journey. You'll learn how to set objectives that suit your needs, and choose metrics that clearly show whether you have achieved your goals.

Key principles for great supporter journeys
You'll discover the foundations for building a strong supporter journey, whether your aim is to introduce your audience to a new issue, make a political impact or raise money.

Understanding and segmenting your audience
Do you really know your audience? What motivates them? What communication style do they like? You'll explore ways to provide tailored, audience-focused content without going down the segmenting rabbit hole.

Enriching your journeys through engagement actions
The most overlooked element of any successful journey; you'll learn why engagement actions are key building sustained engagement. Discover how to come up with ideas to suit your objectives, whether it's education on an issue, building empathy, gathering data and much more.

This training reshaped the way I was approaching supporter journeys, and gave loads of practical strategies to take back to the team.
