We recently worked with Dignity in Dying to develop supporter journeys for new supporters they had recruited from Care2.
Long term supporters
When charities recruit new supporters through services like Care2, it’s essential that they make the most of the opportunity to get supporters on board with their cause in the longer term. Creating well thought out supporter journeys is a key way to do this.
We provided advice and consultancy to Dignity in Dying, supporting them with choosing follow-up actions for the newly recruited supporters, including fundraising asks and surveys. We also helped them to personalize the messaging to supporters and the journeys people were taken on, including support with email content.
The strategy was a success, with some emails achieving open rates of over 60%. Dignity in Dying also had a huge success with a subsequent crowdfunding ask when over 1000 of their new online supporters raised more than £30,000.
