The requirements were straight forward. The new design had to communicate the official status of the label, the information architecture had to be redesigned and a solid content management system should allow the team to edit it's content.
We've designed the new website on the basis of Drupal. The ÖSGS Team is now able to manage all the content themselves, send out press releases and publish testimonials. The incredible fleixble publishing system allows the editors to assign specific content like the "frequently asked questions" to special pages to make sure they always appear in a relevant context.
The new website has a special cache-system decreasing the loading time significantly. The design is also liquid, which means that the website adjusts to the width of the screen. While the site uses most recent web techonologies it is still compatible with old browsers such as the Internet Explorer 6.
