Using your smart phone?

If you use your smart phone you might have noticed that our new site is fully optimized for small screens. It adjusts to the screen size and looks just as nice on a 26" screen as on your android. We've achieved that using a Java Script that determines the width of the browser window and using media queries depending on the device.

We've also redeveloped the entire site using HTML 5, which is the most recent HTML standard. Since some older version of Internet Explorer don't exactly render HTML 5 well, we've decided to use the Modenizr Java Script to server Internet Explorer. We also rely on some of the newest features of CSS3 to create text and shade effects. For older browsers the entire website is still fully functional. It simply doesn't look quite as nice.

Yes, it's Drupal 7

The site is based on the newest version of Drupal, which is Drupal 7. The backend is simple and fully customized according to our workflow. In fact we might even really start blogging this time :-)

More to come

Since we work with "agile development" we follow a simple principle: we postpone features, not deadlines. Therefore the current website is not fully optimized for Internet Explorer at the moment as only a very small fraction of visitors still use IE. But it's a feature you can expect to arrive some time in a few weeks. We are also still tweaking the mobile experience, we'll make the blog look nicer and add more images.
